Susan Arnild - Dekoration Painter
Susan Arnild originally trained as a sign painter, and later studied decorative painting at the Institut Yannick Guegan in France, taking specialised courses in trompe l’oeil and marbeling under Patrick Kirwin, Michel Nadaï and Pierre Lefumat.
She has worked with traditional painting techniques for 20 years, and is the co-owner of the firm Arnild & Peitersen
Susan Arnild works for both private clients and companies. Her assignments have included decorating the Hotel Royal in Århus, Molskroen in Ebeltoft and Vestas Århus, painting sets for Danish television, and designing stands for Eva & Claudi and Den kommunale Højskole.
She has taught decorative painting at technical and art schools throughout Denmark and arranges private courses at her studio in Gravlev, East Jutland.
Susan Arnild is the co-author of the book "Decorating Spaces" (Lindhardt & Ringhof 2002).

She is a member of the International Association of Decorative Painters, Salon, and of the Danish Decorative Painters’ League, Dansk Dekorationsmalerlaug.
